When things are confusing or
uncomfortable or we feel that we are being pulled in too many directions
our minds tend to push the problem away or even forget about the whole
experience in order to allow us to move on – leaving unfinished business
behind. Often
we deal with only as much of a problem or situation as is needed to carry
on, creating what is commonly known as emotional or psychological baggage.
This ‘quick fix’ method has a cumulative effect upon our minds and bodies,
building up and up until we begin to struggle under the strain.
This in turn creates
symptoms within us, just like the effect conscious worries, anxieties and
physical strains have upon us so do these unconscious trapped emotions.
