Analytical
Therapy
We have experience in treating many
different problems, habits, disorders, many are listed to your right under
broad headings, for more detail just click on the
symptoms links for more in depth
information on how hypnotherapy can help with your problem or somebody you
know.
Analytical therapy uses the minds natural ability to work out
emotional/psychological problems.
By using ‘free association’ while
in Hypnosis your mind is encouraged to let it’s natural process of
linking one thought to another ,without applying any intellectual
(logical) direction to these thoughts, back to the originating cause
of the problem. Once found this then allows the emotional release and
intellectual understanding of the cause of the problem in turn this
removes the effect of the problem (the symptoms) for good. So a
problem which has caused considerable discomfort to a person for years
or a lifetime can be a thing of the past within a few short weeks (one
session per week for 8-10 weeks is an average length for Analytical
therapy).
Have you ever ,or do you experience emotional outbursts, strong feelings,
strong reactions or suffer dramatic mood swings which seem ‘over the top’
to you or others around you or disproportionate to the situation. If the
answer is ‘yes’ it is likely you have need of Analytical therapy.
If you cry for no
‘real’ reason, have feelings of anger, feel down or depressed when there
is no obvious cause. If you blush or get embarrassed easily, or find that
some physical activities are difficult or impossible when in front of
others like using a public toilet, writing or speaking ,stammering or
stuttering .If you find yourself checking and rechecking things like locks
and doors, lights and switches or you have little rituals or repetitive
actions /thoughts which worry or upset you Analytical therapy could be the
answer.
When things are confusing or
uncomfortable or we feel that we are being pulled in too many
directions our minds tend to push the problem away or even forget
about the whole experience in order to allow us to move on –
leaving unfinished business behind.
Often
we deal with only as much of a problem or situation as is needed
to carry on, creating what is commonly known as emotional or
psychological baggage. This ‘quick fix’ method has a cumulative
effect upon our minds and bodies, building up and up until we
begin to struggle under the strain.
This in turn creates
symptoms within us, just like the effect conscious worries, anxieties and
physical strains have upon us so do these unconscious trapped emotions.
